Timeline 

1995 Greg and Susan Gianforte move to Bozeman Montana.

1997 RightNow Technologies a business was co-founded by Greg Gianforte and his wife, Susan in Bozeman, Montana.    

2004 Gianforte Family Charitable Trust, commonly known as the Gianforte Family Foundation, was founded.  

2011 RightNow Technologies was acquired by Oracle Corporation for $1.8 billion.   Greg Gianforte and his wife controlled 20 percent to 25 percent of the stock.  

2016 Greg Gianforte ran for Governor of Montana, losing the general election.  He spent more than $5 million of his own money in the raceGianforte's charitable giving reveals social conservatism not discussed in campaign.

2017 - 2021 After winning a special election in 2017 and re-election to a second term in 2019, Greg Gianforte served as the U.S. representative for Montana's at-large congressional district.   He was one the wealthiest members of Congress.   

2020 Greg Gianforte ran for Governor of Montana, winning the election, with a personal loan to the campaign of more than $7.5 million.  

2021 Governor Gianforte began first term in office.  His current net worth is estimated to be $205 million
